How Tradello works

Know exactly what
you're buying.

Every Tradello lead is a real commercial job, refined into your trade's package and sorted into one of four stages. Here's what each stage means, what it costs, and how much of the chase is down to you.

The project lifecycle

One job. Four stages. You choose when to jump in.

A commercial project moves from an idea in the planning system all the way to a live site. We track it the whole way and offer it at each stage — earlier is cheaper but more of a long game, later is more immediate.

The four categories

What each stage gives you.

The "effort" meter is honest: it's roughly how much legwork and patience you'll put in to turn the lead into work. Earlier stages are cheaper because they're a longer game.

① Planning · on the radar

Coming to market — get in first
A scheme that's in the planning system but not yet out to build. No main contractor yet — you're seeing the work months before your competitors, so you can start positioning early.
You getProject, location, sector, scope signal and the planning applicant / agent on record.
Your jobTrack it, build relationships early, be first in the door when it moves to build.

② Tender · being priced
£25 / lead
Out to bid now — position with the bidders
The project is out to tender and main contractors are pricing it right now. Get your trade package in front of the firms bidding, before anyone is appointed.
You getProject, trade package, value band and the tendering route / contracting authority.

③ Awarded · buying trades now
£50 / lead
Procuring now — the prime, ready-to-chase lead
A main contractor has won the job and is buying in trades today. This is the most immediately actionable lead — that's why it's the top price. The estimating window is open now.
You getThe winning contractor, a verified estimating contact, your trade's scope and a solvency signal.
Your jobMake contact, price your package, follow up and win it — one of only four buyers, not one of thirty.

On site — late trades & finishing packages
The build is underway and later trades, finishing packages and remedial work are still being bought. Timing is tight, but the contractor is known and on site.
You getThe active contractor, site location and the late-stage package still open for your trade.

The honest bit

We do the finding. You do the winning.

This matters, so we'll be plain about it: Tradello is not a service that chases the job down for you. We hand you a refined, categorised opportunity — everything after that is your business.

🔧 What Tradello does

Every lead, before it reaches you
  • Find — scan official award, tender and planning sources every day.
  • Refine — break each project into your trade's specific package and value.
  • Categorise — place it in the right stage: planning, tender, awarded or on site.
  • Filter & re-check — run it through multiple checks until we're confident it belongs in that category.
  • Contact & price — find the contact route we can, and set a fair per-stage price.

👷 What you do

Everything after you unlock
  • Make contact — pick up the phone, send the intro, reach the decision-maker.
  • Pitch & price — put your quote and your firm in front of them.
  • Follow up — chase, nurture and stay in front of the opportunity.
  • Win the work — close it, deliver it, get paid.
  • Own the outcome — you're responsible for what you do with the lead after purchase.
Tradello is not a lead-chasing service.

We find, refine, categorise and filter until we're happy a lead sits in the right stage. We don't guarantee you'll reach every contact or win the work — some contractors publish incomplete or misleading details, and the chase is yours. What you're buying is the head start, not the outcome.

How we refine

Filtered again and again — until it fits.

A raw public record isn't a lead. We put every project through the same pipeline and keep filtering until we're satisfied it belongs in its category. That work is what the refinement fee pays for.

1
Raw public data in
Award notices, tenders, planning records — every day.
2
Classify the project
Sector, work type and where it sits in the lifecycle.
3
Break down by trade
Split the scheme into the packages a contractor buys in.
4
Enrich the contact
Find and test the route to the right estimating contact.
5
Filter & verify
Multiple checks; anything that fails the stage is dropped.
6
Categorised lead out
Priced by stage and put on the shelf, ready to chase.

If a project doesn't clearly fit a stage, it doesn't go on the shelf. We'd rather show you fewer, cleaner leads than pad the list.
