Affiliate terms
The rules for promoting Tradello, Plandello and Tendello with your own link, and how commission works.
In short
- You promote Tradello, Plandello or Tendello with your own link, and we may pay you commission on what it brings in.
- Every post must be clearly labelled as an advert (“Ad” or “#ad”). No spam, and never in a group that bans promotion.
- Say only what is true. Never promise leads, work, contracts or earnings, never say we are “compliant”, and never name where our data comes from.
- A sign-up is credited to you once, when the account is created with your code. You cannot refer yourself.
- Commission rates are set in your agreement with us or announced to you in writing. Commission is paid after a holding period, and we can void it for refunds, chargebacks or anything that breaks these terms.
- Either of us can end the arrangement at any time.
1. Who we are, and how these terms fit
The affiliate programme is run by Mansell Media Limited, trading as Tradello (and as Plandello and Tendello). Company number 17335820, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 184-200 Pensby Road, Heswall, Wirral, CH60 7RJ.
These terms apply to anyone we accept as an affiliate. They apply alongside any written agreement we make with you about your commission; where that agreement says something different about commission, the agreement wins. How we handle personal data is in our privacy notice. Our terms of sale govern what customers buy, not this programme.
2. Who can join
- The programme is by invitation or by our acceptance only. We decide who joins and which of our sites you may promote.
- You must be 18 or over, and you must promote in your own name or your business’s name, not by pretending to be us or anyone else.
- You are an independent promoter. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you cannot make promises, offers or agreements on our behalf.
- You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance on anything we pay you.
3. How you may promote us
- Label every post as advertising. Put “Ad” or “#ad” clearly at the start of every post, story, video or message that contains your link or promotes us, as the UK advertising rules (the ASA and the CAP Code) require. “Affiliate”, “sponsored” on its own or a tag hidden at the end is not enough.
- No spam. Do not post in any group, forum, page or chat whose rules ban promotion or self-promotion. Do not send unsolicited emails, texts or direct messages, do not post the same message repeatedly, and do not use bots or bought accounts.
- Follow the rules of every platform and group you post in.
- Use only the links, codes, names and images we give you. Do not change our logos, and do not set up pages, profiles, groups or websites that look like ours.
4. What you must not say
- Do not promise or suggest that anyone will get leads, work, contracts, tenders, sales or earnings by using our sites.
- Do not claim that we, or our data, are “compliant”, “approved”, “accredited” or endorsed by anyone.
- Do not name, or guess at, the organisations, portals or services our information comes from. Describe our product only as we describe it on our own sites.
- Do not quote prices, discounts or free offers we have not published or given you in writing.
- Do not say anything false, misleading, offensive or that disparages a competitor.
5. Paid search and our names
Do not bid on, or buy adverts against, the names Tradello, Plandello, Tendello or Tradello EVO, or any misspelling or variation of them, in any search engine or advertising network, and do not use them in a domain name, username or page name.
6. How a sign-up is credited to you
- Your link carries your code. When someone follows it and creates an account, the code goes with them to the sign-up form, and the account is credited to you when it is created. We do not use cookies to do this. Someone can also type your code into the “Referral code” box when they sign up.
- Each account can be credited to one affiliate only, once. The first valid code used at sign-up wins and is never replaced. An account that already exists cannot be credited.
- A trial, pass, subscription or other purchase counts towards your commission only if it happens within the attribution period after the sign-up (30 days unless we tell you a different period in writing).
- No self-referral. Accounts created by you, with your own email address or your business’s email domain, or for a business you own or work for, are not credited.
- While your affiliate account is paused, your links still work for visitors but new sign-ups are not credited to you.
- Our records decide what is credited. You can see your figures at any time on the private stats link we give you; for privacy it never shows who signed up.
7. Commission
- Commission rates are set in your agreement with us or announced to you in writing before they apply. Where no rate has been set for something, no commission is due on it until one is.
- Commission is worked out on the amount the customer actually paid us (not including any amount refunded).
- Commission is held for a holding period (30 days unless we tell you otherwise in writing) so that refunds and chargebacks can be taken into account. After that it is approved and paid with our next payout, by bank transfer, on the timetable we agree with you.
- We may void commission, or recover commission already paid, where the payment is refunded or charged back, where the account turns out to be fake, duplicated or a self-referral, or where the sign-up came from a post that broke these terms. Refunds and chargebacks void pending commission automatically.
- Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, commission does not include VAT. If you are VAT registered, tell us before you invoice.
8. Ending the arrangement
- Either of us can end the arrangement at any time by telling the other in writing (email is fine). We can pause your account at any time.
- When it ends, stop using your links and our names, and remove your posts if we ask. Approved commission earned before the end, under these terms, will still be paid; commission on anything after the end is not due.
- If you break these terms, we can end the arrangement at once and void commission that is not yet paid.
9. Changes, liability and the law
We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page and telling active affiliates; the change applies from the date stated. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you under this programme is limited to the commission due to you in the previous 12 months.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: use the contact details on our help and contact page, or write to our registered office.
